Day 1: Flight to Cappadocia / North Cappadocia Tour (L)

Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival at the Cappadocia airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to our office where you can store your luggage. Then, you will start the guided North Cappadocia tour.

During the tour, you will visit several important sights in North Cappadocia. You will start with the famous panoramic viewpoint of Esentepe, followed by a visit to Uchisar Castle (from the Byzantium period) where you can admire the castle from the outside. Next, you will explore the unique rock formations in Pasabag Valley, Dervent Valley, and Tree Beauties Valley. These valleys are known for their stunning landscapes and interesting rock formations. Afterward, you will visit the ancient towns of Urgup and Avanos, famous for their red clay pottery. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at pottery-making. At the end of the day, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: South Cappadocia Tour / Flight to Izmir (B, L)

This morning, you will have the opportunity to experience a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia’s surreal landscapes. This is an optional activity and not included in the tour package.

After breakfast and check-out from your hotel, your guide will pick you up for the South Cappadocia tour. You will explore the stunning landscapes of Meskender Valley and Rose Valley, where you can enjoy a hike and admire the red-colored stone formations. The tour will also take you to Cavusin Village, known for its cave houses, and Pigeon Valley, which offers breathtaking views. You will have the chance to marvel at the panoramic view of Love Valley and visit the fascinating Kaymakli Underground City, a complex of underground chambers used by ancient communities. During the tour, you will also have the opportunity to attend a traditional carpet ceremony. After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival at Izmir airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in the Kusadasi area.

Day 3: Ephesus Tour (B, L)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel for a tour of Ephesus. This ancient city was once a prominent center of trade and culture. During the tour, you will visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the impressive amphitheater, the famous Celsius Library, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Ephesus amphitheater. The tour will also include a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be her last abode. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 4: Pamukkale Tour / Transfer to Fethiye (B, L)

After breakfast and check-out from your hotel, you will be picked up at the set time by your guide for a full-day tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis. The journey to Pamukkale will take approximately 3 hours, offering beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, you will have a lunch break before visiting the Gates of the Ancient City of Hierapolis, the necropolis, the ancient theater, and the calcified pools and waterfalls known as Travertines. These natural formations resemble an icy mountain and provide a unique and intriguing sight. You will have the opportunity to swim among the ancient ruins in the Kleopatra swimming pool or visit the Archaeology Museum of Hierapolis. After the tour, you will be transferred to Fethiye, which will take approximately 4 hours. Overnight stay in Fethiye.

Day 5: Free Day in Fethiye (B)

After breakfast, you have a full day to explore the beautiful sides and beaches of Fethiye. Take this opportunity to relax, swim, or enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the town. In the evening, you can consider going out to a club or bar near the seaside.

Day 6: Start Sailing in the Mediterranean, Overnight on the Boat (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel lobby around 10 am to start your sailing adventure. You will depart from Fethiye Harbor around 11 am. Your first stop will be at Samanlik Bay for swimming and lunch. Depending on the sea conditions, you may also visit Butterfly Valley, a natural reserve known for its diverse butterfly species. The tour will continue to Oludeniz (The Blue Lagoon), where you can enjoy swimming or even try paragliding (optional activity). The last stop of the day is St. Nicholas Island, where you will have dinner and spend the first night on the boat, sleeping under the moon.

Day 7: Sail to Kalkan and Kas, Overnight on the Boat (B, L, D)

In the morning, you will depart to Aquarium or Firnaz Bay near Kalkan for breakfast and swimming. Then, the boat will cruise to Kas, a beautiful fishing village. Here, you can explore the town, visit the Lycian rock tombs and the Roman theater. Afterward, you will sail to a bay near Kekova, where you can swim, have dinner, and spend the second night on the boat.

Day 8: Sunken City of Kekova, Overnight on the Boat (B, L, D)

You will depart for the Sunken City of Kekova, a protected Lycian-Roman archaeological site. You will have the opportunity to see the ruins from the boat. Afterward, the boat will continue to Simena, a traditional Turkish fishing village accessible only by boat. Here, you can explore the village and the ruins of the Byzantine/Ottoman castle. In Gokkaya Bay, optional water sports activities are available. Enjoy dinner and relax in this picturesque setting or party at the Smugglers Inn.

Day 9: Pirates Cave and Demre – Flight to Istanbul (B)

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will have a chance to see the cave used by ancient pirates before sailing to Andriace Harbor. At 10:30 am, the boat tour will end, and you will check out of the boat. We will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at Istanbul airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. This marks the end of your 9 Days Turkey Tour.
