Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

Upon your arrival at Istanbul airport, our driver will be waiting for you at the exit holding a signboard with your name on it. You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to check in, settle down, and relax after your flight. Later, your travel consultant will meet you at the hotel to provide a brief overview of your 9 Days Turkey Tour.

Day 2: Istanbul Old City Walking Tour (B, L)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby to start the Old City walking tour. This comprehensive tour will take you to the iconic landmarks of Istanbul, including the Hagia Sophia Museum, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the German Fountain, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Covered Bazaar. You will explore these historical sites on foot and learn about their cultural and historical significance. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3: Flight to Cappadocia (B)

After breakfast and check-out, our driver will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival at the Cappadocia airport, a representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Goreme. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this unique town at your own pace.

Day 4: North Cappadocia Tour (B, L)

Early in the morning, you will have the opportunity to experience the breathtaking Hot Air Balloon ride over Cappadocia’s surreal landscapes (optional, not included in the tour package). Afterward, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to start the North Cappadocia tour. You will visit the famous panoramic viewpoint of Esentepe, Uchisar Castle (Byzantium period), Pasabag Valley, Dervent Valley, and the beautiful Valley of the Fairy Chimneys. The tour will also take you to the ancient towns of Urgup and Avanos, renowned for their red clay pottery. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 5: South Cappadocia Tour / Flight to Izmir (B, L)

After breakfast and check-out, your guide will pick you up from the hotel to start the South Cappadocia tour. You will explore the mesmerizing landscapes of Meskender Valley and Rose Valley, hike through the unique cave houses of Cavusin Village, marvel at the panoramic view of Love Valley, and visit the remarkable Kaymakli Underground City. During the tour, you will also have the opportunity to attend a traditional carpet ceremony. After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival at Izmir airport, a representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in the Kusadasi area.

Day 6: Ephesus Tour (B, L)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel for a tour of Ephesus. This ancient city was once a prominent center of trade and culture. During the tour, you will visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the impressive amphitheater, the famous Celsius Library, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Ephesus amphitheater. The tour will also include a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be her last abode. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 7: Pamukkale Tour / Flight to Istanbul (B, L)

After breakfast and check-out, you will be picked up from the hotel for a full-day tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis. The journey from Kusadasi to Pamukkale will take approximately 2.5 hours, offering beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, you will have a lunch break before visiting the Gates of the Ancient City of Hierapolis, the necropolis, the ancient theater, and the unique calcified pools and waterfalls known as Travertines. You can swim among the ancient ruins in the Kleopatra swimming pool or visit the Archaeology Museum of Hierapolis. After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival at Istanbul airport, a driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 8: Istanbul (B)

After breakfast, enjoy the day at your leisure to explore Istanbul on your own. You may consider taking a Half-Day Bosphorus Cruise, a popular activity that allows you to admire the beauty of Istanbul from the water. Alternatively, you can arrange a day trip to the Princes’ Islands, where you can enjoy swimming, biking, or simply relaxing on the picturesque islands. In the evening, you can opt for a Bosphorus dinner cruise to enjoy the stunning view of Istanbul’s illuminated skyline.

Day 9: Departure from Istanbul (B)

After breakfast and check-out, our driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby to transfer you to the airport, depending on your international flight time.
