Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

Upon your arrival at Istanbul airport, our driver will be waiting for you at the exit with a signboard displaying your name. You will be escorted to your hotel where you can check in, relax, and unwind for the rest of the day. At an appropriate time, your travel consultant will meet you at the hotel to provide a brief overview of your 8 Days Turkey Tour to the Aegean Sea.

Day 2: Istanbul Old City Walking Tour (B, L)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby to embark on an Old City walking tour. During this tour, you will visit significant landmarks such as the Hagia Sophia Museum, the famous Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the German Fountain, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Covered Bazaar. All of these attractions are within walking distance. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3: Gallipoli Tour (B, L)

In the early morning, check out from your hotel and our driver will pick you up for a 4-hour bus journey to the Gallipoli Peninsula. On the way, there will be a stop for breakfast. Upon arrival, enjoy a lunch break before visiting Brighton Beach, Ari Burnu, ANZAC Cove cemeteries, Lone Pine Australian Memorial and Cemetery, the original tunnels and trenches at Johnston’s Jolly, the infamous Nek Cemetery, the Chunuk Bair Memorial, Ataturk Memorial, and the New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery. At the end of the day, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 4: Troy Tour / Transfer to Kusadasi (B, L)

After breakfast and check-out, you will be picked up from the hotel lobby and depart for the ancient city of Troy. You will have the opportunity to climb into a replica of the wooden Trojan horse for a photo, explore the excavation information center, visit the fortification walls of Troy VI, see sacrificial altars, the Odeon, and the Temple of Athena. After a lunch break, the journey continues to Pergamon. Explore the Acropolis and the Library of Trojan, Trojan Temple, Temple of Athena, Altar of Zeus, the Lower Agora and Asclepion, Hellenistic Theatre, Temple of Dionysus, and the Red Basilica. After visiting all the sites, proceed to the beautiful resort town of Kusadasi and check in to your hotel.

Day 5: Ephesus Tour (B, L)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel for a tour of Ephesus. Explore the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the 25,000-seat amphitheater, the famous Celsius Library, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Ephesos amphitheater with the harbor street of Ephesus Ancient City. The final part of the tour will be a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary. After the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel.

Day 6: Pamukkale Tour (B, L)

After breakfast and check-out, your guide will pick you up at the set time to embark on a full-day Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour. Enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive through beautiful landscapes to reach Pamukkale. Upon arrival, have a lunch break before visiting the Gates of the Ancient City of Hierapolis, the necropolis, the beautiful Ancient Theater of Hierapolis, and the calcified pools and waterfalls known as Travertines. You can swim among the ancient ruins in the Kleopatra swimming pool or visit the Archaeology Museum of Hierapolis. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival at Istanbul airport, a representative will meet you at the exit and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 7: Istanbul (B)

After breakfast, enjoy the day to explore Istanbul at your own pace. You may consider taking a half-day Bosphorus Cruise, a must-do experience while visiting Istanbul. Alternatively, you can arrange a day trip to the Mediterranean Islands to enjoy swimming or go for a bicycle ride on the islands. In the evening, you can opt for a Bosphorus dinner cruise, offering a beautiful view of Istanbul’s night skyline with both the European and Asian sides.

Day 8: Departure from Istanbul (B)

After breakfast and check-out, depending on your international flight time, our driver will be at the lobby to transfer you to the airport. This marks the end of your 8 Days Turkey Tour. We hope you have had a memorable experience and look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
